Overview:
The Account Manager (AM) is the primary point of contact for an assigned book of business. He/She is responsible for the financial success, client satisfactions, and client retention of this assigned business.
The AM is responsible for excellent and timely client and team communication, discovering, estimating, proposing, selling, coordinating, and leading work that enhances and beautifies the properties of their clients.
The AM is always looking for opportunities to be helpful, problem solve, and enrich the client experience, as well as, develop their team through coaching and training opportunities during on site evaluation and review.
Core Deliverables:

  • Maintain an active personal calendar that ensures you are spending the right time in the right areas to achieve the desired results detail in this description.
  • Utilize site visits to conduct coaching and training opportunities with team members and understand their various stages of development.
  • Maintain professional relationships with all clients to ensure satisfaction, promote sales and referrals through consistent and methodical communication.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with members of the community to promote brand awareness and grow your book of business
  • Actively pursue and communicate enhancement opportunities to increase revenue and client satisfaction.

Client Management:

  • Develop and maintain timely and professional communication to ensure long-term relationships with clients via email, phone, text, or any other format.
  • Work directly with clients to proactively identify opportunities to enhance the curb appeal, increase functionality or remediate safety concerns around the property.
  • Manage client contract process, including annual contract reviews and renewals.
  • Meet with current clients to discuss and document the client’s expectations for their property. Document the client’s expectation for the finished product by walking the property with them.
  • Communicate delays or adjustments to timing of scheduled services or enhancement projects
  • Is aware of billing and collection status and works with accounts receivable across their assigned book of business.

Sales & Profitability:

  • Be knowledgeable and informed regarding all company services and possess the ability to prepare estimates, present proposals, and negotiate sales for all services.
  • Maintain and regularly update a company-owned database of assigned clients.
  • Represent the company at various networking events, joins or participates in organizations and associations for the purpose of building relationships that drive desired business results.
  • Maintains positive relations with other companies in the industry and related industries.
  • Achieve sales goals for enhancements on existing clients and new business opportunities.

Horticultural Practices & Quality Workmanship:

  • Conduct site inspections and evaluate the services performed.
  • Provide feedback to develop team members to ensure efficient and quality work is consistently performed.
  • Promote high standards for customer service, foster a safet culture, and always maintains a positive team environment.
  • Maintain a high level of good housekeeping and care of company assets including vehicles, shop, field offices, and customer work-sites.
  • Continuing Education (reading, seminars, licenses, etc)

Seasonal Snow & Other Duties:

  • Assist snow removal crews with plowing or shoveling as needed
  • Promote snow removal services to maintain and develop year round relationships
  • Special products and duties as assigned

Working Conditions
Valid and insurable driver’s license

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able and willing to work extra hours and weekends if needed to meet deadlines and goals.
  • Computer skills (Learn CRM systems, all other company used platforms)
  • Hold and/or earn Industry Certifications
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: ($60,000 – 80,000)
